Q: Where are you located?
A: I am a wife and busy mom of three young children living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. I work out of my home studio as well as display in several local galleries and online.
Q: What type of quality materials do you use in your pieces?
A: CLM Designs only uses the best! Sterling silver (unless otherwise noted in description), 49-strand professional jeweler's wire, gold-filled beads, Balinese & Turkish silver, Swarovski pearls & crystals, and lead-free solder are used in the creation of artistic pieces.
Q: What form of payments do you accept?
A: Payments are made as your order is placed with your Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express through the PayPal payment system. You do not have to have a PayPal account and it is not necessary to sign up for one to process payment. If you happen to have a PayPal account, you can pay with your fund balance. I do accept checks and e-checks; however, there is a waiting period before your order ships for the check to clear the bank. If you are local, cash is an acceptable payment form, although, I would not recommend sending it through the mail.
Q: Do you repair other sorts of jewelry not created by you?
A: Yes, I can do basic jewelry repair for you. Please contact me for information and a price quote.
Q: I ordered a personalized pendant. How do I send my picture?
A: You can email me the picture in .jpg, .png, or .gif format and I will re-tool the photo to fit the custom pendant. Digital alterations (sepia or black & white tone or select colorization) can also be done to the photo upon request at no extra fee. Hard copies of photos can also be mailed. A $5 scan charge will apply per picture for this service. Original photos are returned to purchaser. The scan charge includes return shipping of the photo to you.
Q: Do you offer gift wrap?
A: All purchases come in an anti-tarnish jeweler's box. Gift wrap is available for an additional $2.00. You can always have your purchase shipped to an alternative address for gift-giving purchases. Please make a note of this when checking out.
Q: Do you offer other Vera Bradley fabrics besides the ones listed?
A: The fabrics listed are the ones that are in stock. If you are interested in getting a non-retired pattern, this is possible upon request. Retired patterns are limited and may or may not be able to be acquired. Please call or email with your inquiry.
